Setting Your Personal Vision

Clarifying what matters most and understanding any obstacles in your way will help shape into an inspiring vision of who you want to be. Asking yourself questions such as 'What do I believe?' or 'When they read my eulogy, what should it say about me?', can illuminate values that drive meaningful decisions throughout every day - creating a roadmap towards being the best version of yourself possible! They can make or break us in achieving success - determining how effectively we pursue our goals and if those efforts bear fruit.

Understanding Your Values

Our values are deeply-rooted, unique motivations that inspire us to make choices about how we live each day; in contrast, principles provide a stable foundation for universal conduct. To determine which values guide you through life, consider concepts such as integrity, courage, acceptance or respect - just to name a few. With these four core beliefs established firmly within your heart and mind will come an increased sense of purpose with every decision made!

Identifying Our Influences

Those special few may or may not know how much they mean to us; however, their guidance has left an indelible mark on our hearts regardless. From teachers providing indispensable knowledge which pushed us towards higher achievements, to friends believing in a brighter future for all of mankind - each person represented something different but equally important within my life story arc. Above them all stands two names: firstly Mrs Harper-Thomas –my former English teacher– whose inspirational lessons gave me confidence and courage throughout my school years; secondly Mr Ramirez –a colleague from work–whose support over the last five years led me to discover new paths toward success I had never anticipated before!

Think in Terms of Relationships

Think of four individuals you consider significant in personal or professional pursuits--perhaps a boss whose guidance has been invaluable, an encouraging friend or family member with whom you share something meaningful, one of your peers that helps push you further than ever before towards success, and maybe even someone under your care where mutual understanding continues to thrive. All these relationships are key components as we journey through life!

Take a journey into the future and envision three qualities your boss sees in you. Then, ponder how a peer views you - what would they say? Afterwards, consider an appraisal from someone who reports to you; will their opinion be positive or negative? Finally, reflect on yourself through the eyes of one who cares for you deeply: What kind words do they have? If desired, craft a phrase that captures all your sterling traits!
